It is very important that children get plenty of sleep in order for their brain to function at its best. They need to go to bed early and be given enough time to wake up in the morning so that they are not rushed. You do not want your child to be stressed before he gets into the classroom.

It is important to get to know your child's teacher. This is real important if you are having problems with your child. Teachers love and welcome parents help. This open communication between you and the teacher will better help you understand what is going on with your child. It will also help your child to feel more secure if they know you are talking to their teacher.
